Be where your feet are.
Often, we find ourselves in one of two places: the past or the future.
It is so easy to get trapped reliving the past and wishing you would have done things differently. You recall every mistake, every hurt, every missed opportunity and every failure. You may even wish you would have done something differently.
Equally as easy is spending your time worrying about what the future holds. Is there pain and suffering? Is it filled with blessings we wish would arrive sooner? You might find yourself wishing away the hard days or the period of growth you’re going through to get to the other side or the end result.
The true magic of life happens right where your feet are. In the every day. In the quiet moments and the silly moments and the heartbreaking moments. If you find yourself time traveling to the past or the future more than you’d like, remind yourself to just be where your feet are. The present is where LIFE happens, the rest either can’t be changed or is not worth your current worries.
Be where your feet are - the days are fleeting and time stops for no one.
